Your house changed.
Now make it feel like yours.
Hi, I'm Nora — the designer behind Ease Design Studio.
I work with families moving into a new house or transforming their existing home.
Whether it's a new build with no personality or an older house with full of awkward features, I help you untangle the decisions that feel overwhelming: which colours work in your light, how to arrange the furniture so it flows, where to add built-in storage, and what to invest in versus what can wait.
I believe what we surround ourselves with has a profound effect on how we feel. Design isn't just visual! It's felt.
That belief became personal when I became a parent.
Having a neurodivergent child changed how I think about homes entirely. Living it taught me that how a space is designed isn't just an aesthetic choice, it's the difference between a family that can rest and one that can't. Colour, clutter, layout; they all affect how our brains feel in a space, every single day. Paired with a husband who works in fitness and wellness, our family life has always revolved around balance: physical, mental and emotional.
This is the philosophy behind everything I design. I'm not just thinking about how a room will look, I'm thinking about how it will feel to live in, day after day. Calming when you walk in, practical when life gets busy and genuinely, recognisably yours.
I trained with the National Design Academy and spent years working in kitchen and bespoke joinery design field and this hands-on experience feeds directly into every project. I understand how built-ins are designed and built, not just how they look on a mood board.
Based on the Bucks-Oxon-Berks border but everything I do is online which means I can work with families wherever they are, at a pace that fits around real life. You won't need to rearrange your week for site visits. You'll share floor plans, photos and measurements, I'll ask the right questions, and what comes back is a clear, considered project package you can follow at your own pace.
If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear about your space.
No obligation, just a conversation about what your home needs and where to start.
