This design service unfolds across four carefully structured phases — each designed to guide you smoothly from concept to completion.

What to expect:

1.Site Visit & Fee Proposal

Your design journey begins with a short meeting at the property to understand the scope of your project, your priorities, timeline and budget. This initial visit allows us to discuss your ideas, assess the space and determine how I can best support your project.

Following the visit, you will receive a tailored fee proposal outlining the recommended scope of work and design services.

2.Consultation - Site Survey - Project brief:

This phase establishes a clear understanding of your home, lifestyle and project goals.

Through an in-depth consultation and site survey, we define how the space should function, we’ll discuss your lifestyle, design preferences, spatial requirements, lighting, storage needs, and any challenges you may have.

Following our consultation, a detailed design brief is prepared, summarising the design direction and requirements.

• Initial consultation to discuss lifestyle, requirements and design preferences

• Site survey and key measurements of the space

• Assessment of layout, spatial flow and existing conditions

• Written project brief summarising goals, priorities and design direction

3. Concept Design

This is where ideas start to take shape and the overall design vision is created.

Layouts, materials, colours and finishes are explored to develop a cohesive concept that reflects both your aesthetic preferences and how the space needs to function.

The aim is to establish the creative direction before moving into more detailed development.

4.Design Development

The approved concept is refined and developed into a fully resolved interior design scheme.

Key selections are finalised and the design is prepared for detailed documentation.

• Outline joinery and bespoke furniture design

• 3D drawings to help visualise the space

5.Technical & Construction Information

‍The approved design is translated into detailed technical drawings and documentation suitable for contractor pricing and construction.

• Final schedules for finishes, fixtures and fittings

• Final specifications and construction documentation

• Fabric, material and finish boards with the final selections

6.FF&E & Installation Support

This phase supports the delivery of the design during construction. It provides design oversight to ensure the project aligns with the design intent.

Deliverables

• Issuing the construction drawing package to contractors and specialists

• Responding to contractor queries during the build

• Reviewing samples and shop drawings to ensure they align with the design intent

• Site visits during construction (number to be agreed)

• Liaising with contractors

• Procurement and ordering of FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment) if included

• Coordination of FF&E delivery and installation

• Final styling and finishing touches once installation is complete

7.Handover & Completion

This final phase ensures the completed project reflects the approved design and supports a smooth transition into your finished home.

• Final site inspection of the completed space

• Written snagging list relating to the interior design scope

• Inventory of FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment)

• Handover of warranties, manuals and maintenance information

• Walkthrough of the completed space with the client

• Final sign-off confirming completion of the design scope

Investment (per room):

Minimum investment: £3,000 dependent on complexity of renovation plans, room type and amount of furniture/sourcing.
